Tenbury French Twinning Association will hold its belated Annual General Meeting at 12 noon on Sunday 19 September 2021, at Ashford Mill House, Ashford Carbonel, the new home of John & Elizabeth Weston.
This will be directly followed by a barbecue to raise funds for the Association, and also to give us all a chance to get re-acquainted after our prolonged forced inactivity!
Meanwhile we expect a visit from our friends in Pont du Casse some time next summer. Please give some thought as to whether you could accommodate guests for the long weekend, and/or help with our events programme during their stay.
You are welcome to attend Tenbury French Twinning Association’s Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 1 May at The Pump Rooms, Tenbury Wells at 7.30pm.
This will be followed by a meeting for all those going to Pont du Casse on this summer’s twinning trip.
We have confirmed with our friends in Pont-du-Casse the weekend of our visit next year. We will arrive there on Friday 16 August and depart Monday 19 August 2019.
Participation is open to anyone from the Tenbury area, young or old, including families. There’s no immediate hurry to apply just yet, but more information, including on transport options, is available from our chair Liz Weston.
Meanwhile our next social event has been confirmed as a three-course fundraising lunch in St Michael’s Village Hall on Sunday 3 March 2019, to which all are welcome.
There’s an update on the Twinning Association’s recent activities in the current Teme Valley Times:
On Friday 19 October at the Green Meal Cafe, St Michael’s, Tenbury Wells, from 7pm.
Soup, buffet, desserts, quiz!
Please bring own bottle.
We will be officially launching this website at Tenbury Countryside Show tomorrow (4 August 2018), on the Town Council stand, where you can also learn more about the Twinning Association and how to get involved.
